Advance Research Excellence
Promote high-quality scientific research through structured peer-review processes, academic discussions, and the exchange of original scholarly contributions.
Connecting people, disciplines and ideas to move knowledge into practice.
PRAXIS is an international academic conference bringing together researchers, scholars, postgraduate students and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and explore contemporary challenges across three interconnected disciplines.
The International Conference on Management, Healthcare Management & Accounting is built around a shared question: how can rigorous research contribute to better decisions and more effective organizations? PRAXIS creates a setting in which academic ideas can be examined alongside the challenges encountered by managers, healthcare administrators, accountants and other professionals.
Its three core domains are Management and Business Sciences; Healthcare Management and Administration; and Accounting, Finance and Governance. These fields meet in everyday decisions about people, resources, service delivery, performance and accountability. Technology—including analytics, artificial intelligence and digital systems—provides a further connection across the research agenda.
The conference welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, conceptual and applied research. It encourages contributions that explain their methods clearly, acknowledge limitations and identify what the work adds to scientific understanding. The ambition is to make academic exchange useful without reducing complex findings to simple promises.
Researchers, scholars, postgraduate students and industry professionals are invited to contribute distinct perspectives. Through presentations, research discussion and opportunities for collaboration, PRAXIS seeks to support a community that continues learning beyond an individual conference edition.
The first edition took place at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 17 to 20 October 2026. The second edition is planned for October 2027 in Kuala Lumpur; exact dates, the programme and participation fees will be announced when finalized.
To become a distinguished international academic platform that advances scientific research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based professional practices in management, healthcare administration, accounting, and related fields.
PRAXIS aspires to connect academic knowledge with real-world challenges, contributing to organizational excellence, sustainable development, and meaningful societal impact.
To provide an inclusive, academically rigorous, and internationally oriented forum that brings together researchers, scholars, postgraduate students, industry professionals, and institutional leaders to exchange knowledge, present original research, and develop innovative solutions to contemporary organizational challenges.
The conference is committed to promoting research integrity, scientific excellence, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the translation of academic findings into practical applications.
Maintaining transparency, ethical research practices, and scholarly responsibility.
Encouraging methodological rigor, originality, and scientific quality.
Supporting creative thinking and technological advancement.
Promoting international partnerships and interdisciplinary exchange.
Connecting scholarly findings to measurable professional and societal improvements.
Supporting participation from diverse academic and professional communities.
Eight strategic objectives connect the conference’s academic purpose with its ambition for practical impact.
Promote high-quality scientific research through structured peer-review processes, academic discussions, and the exchange of original scholarly contributions.
Encourage research that addresses practical challenges and contributes to evidence-based decision-making in management, healthcare administration, and accounting.
Establish opportunities for collaboration among researchers, universities, research institutions, and professional organizations across different countries.
Provide postgraduate students and early-career researchers with opportunities to present their findings, receive constructive feedback, and develop academic communication skills.
Encourage collaboration across management, healthcare, finance, accounting, technology, and governance to address complex organizational and societal challenges.
Highlight the role of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, data analytics, and emerging innovations in transforming organizational and professional practices.
Promote research contributing to organizational sustainability, responsible leadership, transparent governance, and sustainable development goals.
Facilitate the dissemination of research findings through academic presentations, scholarly networking, and appropriate publication opportunities, subject to independent editorial and publishing requirements.
Our strategic direction sets out how PRAXIS intends to develop its academic programme, relationships and contribution over successive editions.
Shape the research conversation around challenges faced by organizations: resilient leadership, quality healthcare, accountable financial management and responsible digital change. Keep a clear connection between each topic and the conference’s three core domains.
Encourage authors to explain their evidence, analytical choices and limitations. Welcome quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, conceptual and applied work, with the appropriateness of the approach taking priority over a preference for any one method.
Bring academic perspectives into discussion with practitioners’ experience. Planned formats may include research presentations, poster conversations and focused exchanges around organizational problems; each edition’s confirmed programme will specify what is available.
Encourage participants to identify a practical implication, a question requiring further investigation or a potential collaborator. Where organizations and researchers agree to work together, define responsibilities and expected outputs before a project begins.
Develop clear conference resources and distinguish external reading from accepted contributions. Publish proceedings arrangements, author permissions and any publication or indexing claims only when confirmed.
Use participant feedback and documented outcomes to improve future editions. Areas for assessment include the relevance of discussions, opportunities for early-career researchers and the progress of collaborations, rather than attendance alone.
These commitments define the experience PRAXIS seeks to build and the reasons to take part in its research community.
PRAXIS places management, healthcare administration and accounting in the same discussion, with technology as a theme running across them. This creates space to examine a problem through operational, human and financial perspectives together.
The conference’s research-to-practice focus asks how a contribution might inform a decision, improve a process or challenge an assumption. Practical impact remains an ambition to evaluate, with the limits of each study made clear.
The intended community includes experienced scholars, postgraduate students and practitioners. Diverse research designs and constructive exchange are part of the conference’s approach to developing stronger contributions.
PRAXIS seeks productive relationships with industry while keeping research decisions independent of commercial support. A partnership is a route to shared learning and agreed activity, never a promise of research acceptance or publication.
Explore a shared research question with a university or research team, with an agreed scope, responsibilities and appropriate ethical review.
Contribute a management, healthcare, accounting or technology challenge for discussion, subject to permission, confidentiality and any necessary anonymization.
Propose a focused workshop, expert discussion or skills session that addresses a relevant research or professional need. Programme inclusion is subject to review and agreement.
Discuss how a product, service or digital approach could be evaluated in an academic setting. Demonstrations should disclose commercial interests and distinguish evidence from marketing claims.
Explore support for research development or participation opportunities. Any eligibility criteria, funding terms and selection arrangements must be agreed and communicated in advance.
Discuss sponsorship or support in kind for agreed conference activities. Recognition, deliverables and permitted use of the PRAXIS identity are defined individually in a written agreement.
These are opportunities for discussion. No company partnership is announced here. Support does not guarantee paper acceptance, a speaking role, publication or access to participant information.
Through scholarly exchange and professional collaboration, PRAXIS aims to achieve these outcomes. They guide our development and are not presented as measured results of a past edition.
Introduce your organization and the collaboration you have in mind. Include your objectives, proposed activities and timing so the PRAXIS organizing team can review your enquiry.
Your proposal goes directly to the conference team’s private inbox. Submitting an enquiry does not create a partnership or commit either party to an agreement.
